Opportunity

Flight Centre is an international travel agent that has expanded across the globe from its native Australia.

Stamp were asked to work alongside the senior management team to develop the proposition and customer experience to grow their retail business in the UK.

Approach

The store was heavily influenced by customer missions around destination and travel type.

Centred around a discover zone that put service at the heart of the offer.

Solution

We did away with the traditional model of travel agency with staff hiding behind desks, and developed a totally scalable format ready for nationwide roll out.

The first store on Kensington High Street was also the first store to deploy the new digital strategy – to deliver total digital integration, from remotely updated flash sale offers to full in-store customisation of holiday products.
Inside, product groups are categorised into the key customer destination types: Journeys, Beach and City.
Consultants sit amongst the product under the distinctive red raft that became a key feature of every store.
We developed dynamic illustrations for every key destination around the globe
The Discover Desk is fully connected consultation space where a customer can customise their trip with limitless possibilities.
90% of customers buy only 5% of products from brochures. So these products were released from the brochures and made ‘shoppable’ as individual products
Our long term working relationship with Flight Centre delivered 52 stores across the UK
High Street Kensington was the first store to include a fully clinically approved vaccinations centre for holidaymakers.
