Opportunity
Daskalides is one of the biggest names in Belgian chocolate, but remained largely unknown in the UK.
We worked with the newly appointed UK licence holders to develop an indulgent experience in a prime location.
Approach
The product is wonderful but difficult to store and display so we did research into the best method of keeping it at optimal temperature. The building itself was a new development with some challenges, requiring access to the basement and escape in the event of fire.
Careful planning, fixture and lighting design were used to make the most of the space and showcase a wide range with a wide value spread.
Solution
The shop follows the traditional display principles held dear by the 200 year old brand. The space is climate controlled and offers a traditional feel with a contemporary twist.
The basement café is a serene escape from the bustle of Long Acre, offering the bespoke wallpaper, conformable seating and the best hot chocolate in London!
