Opportunity

After a successful store design project, we were asked to turn our attention to Specialized's new UK head office: a beautiful Victorian mansion in the Surrey Hills.

Approach

The various spaces needed to work for their respective users, whether that be corporate visitors, marketing teams, customer support or senior management. We first looked at the functionality and worked with the client to ensure this functionality was understood, and took a deep dive into the brands' history and the contextual setting of the British countryside.

Solution

The scheme was designed to work with the classic architecture, but deliver specific counter points and areas of interest across three floors and 20,000sqft.

The brands history has a key role in mountain biking and road cycling. This is told through heritage pieces and inspired new creative. The palettes were developed around significant cycling events, locations and races.
